        NPSAS members have compiled their tastiest tried-and-true recipes into a single book that will be treasured for generations to come. This mouth-watering cookbook contains 384 recipes to be exact – everything you need from appetizers to desserts. Each recipe includes the contributor’s name, city and state, so it’s easy to find member’s recipes.

Farm Fresh Recipes features a variety of recipes inspired from products raised on member’s farms, ranches and/or gardens. These recipes truly connect the farm to the table! Members share their food story with this collection of recipes which encourages the use of fresh and in-season ingredients such as rhubarb, asparagus, zuchinni, tomatoes, squash, cucumbers and various herbs.

Kitchen enthusiasts will find a little of everything: canning, fermenting, goat milk soap, Kombucha, homemade breads, bone broth, lard rendering, hearty chowders and award winning pizza and pies. The cookbook features many heritage inspired recipes from our diverse membership – Copper Pennies, Kuchen and Knephfla Soup (German), Borscht (Russian), Bubbles & Squeaks (Irish), Shakshuka (Jewish), Llapingachos (Ecuadorian), Mozechek (Czech), Pepparkakor (Swedish) and Pierogies (Polish) to name a few.
