DESCRIPTION:We are hosting an Intro to Organic Agriculture Field Day July 20th at Menoken Farms and Dockter Organics. The field day will take place on Menoken Farm\, a conservation demonstration farm\, and Dockter Organics\, a certified organic wheat farm in Menoken\, North Dakota on July 20th. This event is for anyone interested in organic farming or ranching\, interested in transitioning to organic\, or in the three-year transition period to organic. Topics that will be covered during the event include organic pest and weed management\, nutrient management\, soil health\, soil testing\, record-keeping strategies\, organic marketing\, as well as an opportunity to visit with mentors during lunch.
