SUMMARY:Tech in Transition to Organic & Regenerative Farming
DESCRIPTION:Join us at Grand Farms in Casselton\, ND for Tech in Transition to Organic & Regenerative Farming on June 12. \n \nInnovation in ag is an intrigue of most every farmer. They want to know what’s new in the world that can help make the farm and rancher’s lives easier\, their operations more profitable\, and increasing efficiency giving more opportunity for better work life balance. This event held in cooperation with Grand Farm’s Cultivate Conference and Fargo AgTech Week is a great opportunity to connect with companies that are creating innovations\, see them first-hand in action and network with other farmers.  While most ag technology can be applied to all types of farms and ranches\, at this event\, we will focus on regenerative and organic farmers and those interested in transitioning to such practices and the why behind making that adjustment. Join us for this first-time event collaboration and learn more about technology in ag in organic farming with NPSAS\, Grand Farm\, UDSA Transition To Organic Partnership Program\, & Ecorobotix.\n \nEVENT SCHEDULE: \n9:30 – 10:00 – Registration\, Coffee & Pastries\n10:00 am – Welcome and Introductions \n10:15 am – 12:30 pm Field Demos\n– Ecorobotix – See and Spray using AI\n– Verdant Robotic – See and Spray for weeds using AI\n– Barn Owl Ag – Robotic Weeder Cultivator\n– Hiwassee Products – \n12:30 – 1:20 – Lunch  (Register below by June 9th for food ticket)\n12: 45 – 1:00 pm – Ecorobotix Role in Ag\n1:30 – Farmer Panel – Organic & Regenerative Transition: How\, Why\, and The Tech Behind It\n2:15 – Future of Innovations in Agriculture and Where It’s Going for Conventional\, Organic & Regenerative Farming\n– John Mann\, Grand Farms\n– Randy Stratton\, SecurCrop Agri-Tech Consultants\n– Winter Leap\n3:00 – Close with Martin Goter NPSAS Grand Farm Field Day\n \nPlease SIGN-UP TODAY BELOW BY 5:00 pm ON JUNE 9 so we can prepare food numbers appropriately:\n \nThis is a USDA Transition to Organic Farm Production (TOPP) event of the Plains Region .\n \n  \n \n\n\n \n \n Tech in Transition to Organic and Regenerative Farming\n We look forward to seeing you. \n \n Name(Required)\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Email\n \n Cell phone # (in case circumstances change on the day of the event)Do you have any questions you would like answered about ag innovation? Are you a farmer interested in organic farming?(Required)I am a farmer interested in new technology.I am already a certified organic organic farm.I am a farmer interested in more information on transitioning to organic farming.I am not a farmer\, I just think ag tech is cool. How did you hear about this event?Social MediaAdvertisementWord of MouthNewspaperOrganizational NewsletterOtherWant to keep up-to-date with our latest news and announcements? SUMMARY:The Early Days of Transition and Farming with Data
DESCRIPTION:Blake Burggraff is an organic farmer who transitioned to organic production in recent years\, but has learned a great deal along the way.  Join fellow farmers interested in hearing the how and why behind his family’s transition to organic farming practices\, strategies for success\, and challenges along the way. This small scale operation with implementable ideas for large and small operations has been the implementation site for a lot of trial and error. With some good success and solid lessons in production ag attendees will most certainly find attendance worth their time.  \nThis event is sponsored by NPSAS and USDA Transition to Organic Partnership Program.  \n9:00 – 9:30 – Registration\n9:30 am – Welcome and Introductions \n10:15 am – 12:00 pm Field Tour\n12:00 –  1:30 – Lunch along with Q & A on Organic Farming Strategies \n\nPlease SIGN-UP TODAY BELOW BY 10:00 am ON July 5 so we can prepare food numbers appropriately:\n\n \nThis is a USDA Transition to Organic Farm Production (TOPP) event of the Plains Region .\n \n\n\n \n\n \n \n The Early Days of Transition and Farming with Data\n We look forward to seeing you in Hartford.
