Who: Anyone who is part of NPSAS or wants to be part of NPSAS that is interested in generating ideas and research to create opportunities for organic, regenerative, and sustainable farmers & ranchers to grow quality foods and seed development through collaboration with growers, buyers and end users.
Agenda:
- Seed inventory on hand – Discuss Interest in Devyatkia buckwheat, dylan wheat, white sorghum, and more
- Take Inventory of current NPSAS Farm Breeder network equipment and discuss if items should be sold
- Define Summer Projects
- Discuss Grant opportunities
- Seed Variety Ownership and Royalty
- Defining the specific scope of Farm Breeder Network
- Assess seed needs for 2024 and beyond
- Set monthly meeting date
