Evaluating Early-Maturing, Cold-Tolerant White Sorghum Cultivars

Project Description

NPSAS Farm Breading Club, NDSU researchers, and food processors are evaluating 106 early-maturing, cold-
tolerant white sorghum cultivars for agronomic performance in northern tier states, along with desirable
market qualities. This partnership team seeks to provide farmers and end-users with a viable, high-value,
gluten-free food grain, and high-protein livestock feed.
